Plain-language working terms

Terms for custom animated films.

Updated 12 October 2026

Which projects these terms cover

The family film packages and terms below are for private family projects. Community organisers can email [email protected] for a separate written quote and agreement. That agreement sets the group project’s scope, schedule, review steps and permitted uses.

Adults only

A parent, guardian, or other adult authorised by the family must make the enquiry and approve the project.

Scope, price, and timing

Website prices are starting guides, not automatic offers. Before production, we provide a written scope, schedule, review points, deliverables, and final quote. Work begins only after that agreement and its payment schedule are accepted. For the one-week family packages, the approved quote states the production start and delivery dates. Sending an enquiry does not start the production period.

Your story and the finished work

The family keeps ownership of its original story and child-created characters. The project agreement grants the family the promised personal-use rights to the final film. Neutoons retains its pre-existing production tools, methods, and studio materials.

Privacy and publicity

A family commission is private by default. We will not publish the child’s story, name, image, voice, or finished commission in a portfolio without separate written adult permission.

Human-led production

Creative technology may assist ideation or production, but writers, artists, and directors remain responsible for the finished work. We do not use submitted family material to train AI models.
